Beautiful old AUTHENTIC AKOSO, powder glass with trailed decoration, African trade bead.
Akoso were made by the people of Krobo, Ghana, West Africa.
Even the Venetian bead makers tried to copy AKOSO beads by producing reproductions !
The bead is in excellent condition ( see photos ).
The size of the bead is 21 X 14 mm.
Used in the African trade from late 1800's to early 1900's.
