Beautiful and rare old striped trail decorated elbow Fancy Venetian glass trade bead ( Picard, Volume V, p.41, bead 1405 ).
The bead is in very good condition ( lightly chipped at the ends, see photos ).
The size of the bead is 25 mm X 7 mm.
