Each bead in this bracelet and earrings set is crafted in the Krobo region of Ghana using a centuries-old tradition. The process begins by crushing recycled glass and bottles into a fine powder, placing it into clay molds, and firing in a firewood kiln. These techniques not only preserve cultural heritage but also reflect the historic importance of trade beads in Ghana and across Africa, once used as currency and now treasured as wearable art.
