The brass beads, crafted in the Ashanti region of Kumasi, Ghana, are made using the ancient lost wax casting technique. Each bead requires a handmade wax mold, which is carefully destroyed to extract the final brass bead, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind.
The vibrant glass beads, originating from the Krobo region of Ghana, are made from recycled bottles and other glass materials. The glass is crushed into a fine powder, placed into molds, and fired in a traditional firewood kiln, preserving a sustainable and time-honored African bead-making tradition.
