Introducing our exquisite strand of New Tabular African Brass Beads, crafted with precision and ancient tradition by the skilled artisans of Ashanti in Ghana, West Africa. Each bead is a testament to the heritage and craftsmanship passed down through generations using the revered "Lost Wax" technique.

Product Specifications:

  • Length: Approximately 22 inches (56 cm) - bead to bead
  • Bead Size: Each bead approximately 20 x 20 x 9 mm

**YOUR STRAND WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THE STRAND SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH (GIVEN NORMAL VARIATION SINCE THESE BEADS ARE ALL COMPLETELY HANDMADE).**

Each individual bead is uniquely crafted through a painstaking process: a separate wax model is meticulously sculpted and then encased in a durable mold. The wax is melted away, leaving a cavity into which molten brass is poured, forming these distinct, geometrically shaped beads.

As we delve into the lost wax casting technique, it's clear why this method is cherished. It allows for intricate designs and durable beads, reflecting both the artistic vision and historical significance of Ghanaian culture. Brass beads hold a special place in the hearts of many; historically used in trade and as a symbol of status and identity, today they are treasured by collectors and fashion enthusiasts alike for their beauty and historical value.
