The brass beads in this bracelet are handcrafted in the Ashanti region of Ghana (Kumasi) using the ancient Lost Wax Technique. Each bead requires an individually handcrafted wax mold, which is destroyed after the casting process, making every bead truly unique.
The vibrant glass beads originate from the artisans of Krobo Land in Ghana. These beads are made by recycling glass bottles and other discarded glass materials, which are crushed into a fine powder and placed into molds before being fired in a traditional firewood kiln. This centuries-old process produces stunning beads that reflect the rich history and craftsmanship of Ghanaian artisans.
