Beautiful LARIAT necklace handmade using old African trade glass seed beads known as "Christmas" or "Love" and Ashanti brass beads.
The size of the glass beads is 2 - 5 mm in diameter.
Venetian and Czech seed glass beads used in the African trade mid 1900s.
The brass beads are newly made in the Ashanti region ( Kumasi - Ghana ) using the Ancient "Lost wax" technique.
A mold is prepared for each bead that is destroyed in order to remove the bead !
For each bead a hand made mold from wax is needed !
The beads are 100 % handmade.
The size of the brass beads is 23 mm X 14 mm X 4 mm.
The length of the LARIAT is 59 1/2" ( 151 cm ) long.
This lariat can be used as a necklace, waist beads or as a wrap bracelet.
YOUR NECKLACE WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THE ONE SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH ( GIVEN NORMAL VARIATION SINCE IS COMPLETELY HANDMADE ).
