Each bead is skillfully crafted from recycled glass bottles and other glass items. These materials are crushed into powder, placed into molds, and fired to form unique and beautiful beads. The entire process is 100% handmade, ensuring that each strand is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Decoration Process
What sets these fancy beads apart is their intricate decoration. Talented artisans in Kroboland use crushed glass fragments, natural dyes, and powdered glass to create vibrant patterns and detailed motifs. Tools such as wooden or metal etchers are used to enhance the design, making each bead a tiny work of art.
Firing Process
After decoration, the beads are carefully fired in traditional kilns. The high heat fuses the powdered glass and seals the intricate designs, giving the beads their stunning, durable finish.
