- Pendant size: 28 mm × 23 mm × 7 mm

The ancient Venetian and Czech seed beads used here date back to the mid‑1900s African trade era. These cheerful “Christmas” (red/green) and “Love” (green/cream) beads carry rich history from Ghana and West Africa, where they played a prominent role in social and ceremonial adornment.
The focal point is an exceptional heart‑shaped bloodstone trade bead from Cambay, India. In excellent condition, it shows only minor age‑wear. Crafted centuries ago, these beads were hand‑drilled in India using traditional tools. From 1800s or earlier, Cambay bloodstone trade beads were highly prized across West Africa, including Ghana, where they served not just as jewelry but as symbols of trade value, prestige, and cultural connection.
All findings, clasp, extension chain, and memory‑wire forming the choker, are stainless steel for durable, skin‑friendly wear.
