A beautiful strand of different NEW powder glass African beads, made by the people of Kroboland / Krobo, IMITATING old Venetian FANCY trade beads and NEW brass beads.
The brass beads are made in the Ashanti region ( Kumasi - Ghana, West Africa ) using the Ancient "Lost wax" technique. A mold is prepared for each bead that is destroyed in order to remove the bead! For each bead a hand made mold from wax is needed!
The glass beads ( Krobo land - Ghana, West Africa ) are made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then into molds in order to create this nice looking beads.
The strand is app. 25" ( 63.5 cm ) long ( of beads ).
The size of the beads is 8 - 17 mm.
All beads are 100% handmade.
YOUR STRAND WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THE STRAND SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH (GIVEN NORMAL VARIATION SINCE THESE BEADS ARE ALL COMPLETELY HANDMADE).
